Do you like to sing? Would you like to improve your singing and performance expertise? Do you like jazz and swing? Do you love the sound of applause?
Then The Springfield Jazz Singers is for you. This 4-part harmony vocal group sings great music in jazz and swing arrangements. Everyone learns the basics of good vocal production techniques, phrasing and interpretation, and showmanship. Some of the things you’ll learn include proper breath control, vocal dynamics, singing diphthongs, and how to ‘sell’ a song.
Most of all, everyone is working together, in a fun-loving and supportive atmosphere.
REHEARSALS
The Springfield Jazz Singers meet Monday evenings twice a month from 7 to 9 pm in Springfield.

THE DIRECTOR
Jan Felton has over 20 years of experience in teaching singing, directing vocal groups and producing
shows. She was the founder and Artistic Director of "Broadway By The Bay", a musical theater company
in Santa Cruz.
